Rhodes Is #1 on Newsweek′s "Most Service-Oriented" Schools

Tutoring children is just one of the many service opportunities available to Rhodes students.

Once again, Rhodes has ranked number one on Newsweek’s “Most Service-Oriented” list of schools. The college received this designation last year.

“These are the top schools in the nation for encouraging students to give back to the community and spend time in selfless service,” noted The Daily Beast, which is now the online home of the news magazine.

The 2011 list includes 25 colleges in the “Most Service-Oriented” category. Over 80 percent of Rhodes students participate in community service.
