Alumni Engagement & Success

William Jewell College

The value of a liberal arts education is seen most clearly in the outcome: our alumni. While a relatively small percentage of all college graduates come from Annapolis group schools, our graduates are disproportionably represented in the fields of politics, public service, business, education, medicine and science, literature and entertainment, technology and journalism.

Through the broad-based liberal arts education they receive, our graduates are prepared not just for today's world but for the ever-accelerating change constantly reshaping the world in which we live. They are leaders and active members of their communities, thinkers and doers, creators and innovators. And they are successful by any definition of the word.

"Any college can provide rote learning experiences. Any good college can turn out employable graduates. But a great college fully engages its students and helps them discover how to keep learning alive long after their relatively brief four years of college study are done. The liberal arts... provide the ideal framework for this transformative growth."
Brian Mitchell, President, Bucknell University
